Cartilage Skin Tags Newborn

The ruptured eardrum 2x in 3 months?

My 7-year-month baby had a lot of problems with his left ear. He was born with great skin tags outside of both ears, the fleshy part of what we had removed, but there is still cartilage left bumps on both sides. It has not passed his hearing test newborn until the third test. At 4 months, without informing his eardrum burst in the middle of the night, no fever, no signs until it is profuse yellow mud leaking out of his ear. A month later he had an ear infection from another, and one month after his eardrum broken again (this time it was groutchy, but he also cut his first two teeth 3 days apart this week). Her pediatrician says she will refer him to a specialist if it happens again before his first birthday, but I prefer not to wait. Someone he had a similar experience? My insurance will not pay for specialists unless my pediatrician referred, so I'm looking for advice from someone who was there before I spend hundreds of $ $ $ out-of-pocket to see a specialist

Can someone smoking in the house or smoking, and coming around the baby smell like smoke? My last baby had recurrent infections of the ear and eardrum Perforated and oozed 2 times before the pediatrician asked me this question. My husband smokes in the house, but thought it was permissible because it was in another room. He stopped smoking in the house and the ear infections stopped. I did not know the fact that around a smoker could cause ear infections. That said, if smoking is not a problem, be firm with your pediatrician and tell him you please give the reference now – you do not want your baby to go through this pain again. If she still refuses, I find another pediatrician.
