I went for a papsmear and everything came back normal, but im confused?

im confused because the day of the appointment i have small bumps that it believes were warts are genital warts, she gave me some medicine, but im confused because how can test if I still come back normal these bumps is it HPV or am I scaring reading things online that say hpv genital warts are aka incurible that even if they leave they remain in the body i really need help im afraid to call the doctors office again, I do not want to sound stupid what is really happening?

Never feel as you may seem stupid … you pay them for their service, you can ask them what you want! Genital warts are external I guess? … Which has not interfere with your Pap test so it can still be normal. They can "burn" off the warts or give you medicine to help them go away … stress or a number of things can make them appear again, but they can also disappear for ages too. Try to relax a bit about it .. and do not be afraid to take charge of yourself and your body. So I hope in the future will give more condoms for consideration, unless you have been seeing only one person for at least 6 months to be sure that you / they are both "clean".
