My dog has a weird injury … suggestions?
I have an appointment with her vet, but my Gordon Setter was a stain appears on his hip Sunday. It looked like a mole, but it was new and the hair in an area the size dime was missing. I felt and it was a bit of a bump only. Yesterday I watched and was flabergasted. It is now 2 inches in diameter on her hip. It is wet (which it continues to lick) with deeper "scars" in some areas. This is not crispy and is a deep red / burgundy circle around him who is about an inch in diameter outside e lesion. There seems to be some small skin tag almost look at things in this area. I do not think it's endless ring. When I first saw it I thought it was a warm place, but the thing with mole on effort to first, I'm not so sure. It is horrible lick granulomas and bustle with everything and anything. I sprayed him the bitter apple and it is one of those who could not care less. Any ideas that might be?
