Is a skin tag on the lid be removed in Ontario in an office of general practitioners and covered under Ohope?
I went to a clinic and a dropin ophthalmologist wants me to pay 400 dollars to file a skin tag on my eyelid. It is already paid for the office visit. They used to do in an office of general practitioners for free ………. this is not for cosmetics. It looks awful and its making me headache ………..
Unfortunately, this is considered "cosmetic", as it poses no real danger health and it is just something that people want to do aesthetically. So that's why its not covered.
