How do I get rid of a mole in the yard!?

Please help! I have a mole living in my yard and is destroying my lawn and makes deep holes. How can i catch this little creature, I believe he may be blind! does anyone know how to remove him from my premises and do I have to kill him??thanks, Dallas

There are little Havahart traps for moles that work well and allow you to capture them without harming them and to transport them somewhere else for release. I have been trying to just traumatize mine with a weed-eater monster smooshing down on top of their openings every morning. That’s actually working. They’ve all started to move over to my neighbor’s yard. : )
