Whats the difference in genital warts and genital herpes?
if your pregnant can your give either to your baby durring birth. Will you always have both?
Genital warts are lumps that occur down stairs. Herpes can occur there too but herpes looks more like a raised blister or raised pimples. Herpes also tends to have more symptoms then genital warts If you have an out break at the time you go into labor of either herpes or genital warts then you can pass it onto your baby at the time you deliver. Yes you will always have both if you have both, they are permanent viruses that don’t ave a cure but they can be managed with medication.
There are ways to help prevent out breaks of herpes, antiviral medication is typically given to mothers a couple of weeks before they deliver so they can deliver naturally if they want to. If there are no signs of warts at the time you deliver then you could have a natural birth.
If you don’t want to take any risks then a c-section is recommended. C-sections help prevent the passing of most stds from mothers to new babies.
