is it possible for men to transmit HPV / genital warts?
is it a common occurrence? do safer sex practices deter transmission?
i had sex with a guy over a year ago. it was a one time thing and we used a condom. i am now happily in love with my girlfriend and we’ve have sex frequently but we never engage in safer sex practices because we’re faithful to each other. of late, i developed little bumps in my genital area, which went away but now i have random itching sensations. i know it’s not from my girlfriend because we mostly have oral sex, so i would have the little bumps in my mouth, but i don’t.
i have an appointment with a dr scheduled for the end of the month.
HPV is and can be transmitted from a man or a woman. unless it is the actual genital WARTS strand of the HPV-then he may be tested for. the cervical cancer HPV is NOT testable as of yet in the ‘male species’. i do know that the cervical cancer HPV does not cause red bumps…genital wart HPV on the other hand does…i would go get checked from yer dr. 
wouldn’t hurt!
