Planned Parenthood sent me this message about fees…what do I do?
I made an appointment at PP for STD treatment (I believe I have Genital Warts), they sent me this message…
“This clinic has a different fee structure. We do not offer free services. Fees are due at the time of service. Please call us or reply if you cannot keep this appointment. If you are using insurance, please bring your card with you to your appointment. Otherwise, our fees are based on income and family size. We request that you bring proof of income and family size currently supported by that income to your appointment. We ask you to bring a photo ID with you as well. Thank you.”
I am a student who lives alone, I am under my parents’ insurance but I don’t plan on using that. I have a minimum wage job, but the only paystub I have is from a couple months ago. Should I just bring that? How much are they going to be charging me? I’m BROKE!
You have insurance but you expect someone else to pay for your genital warts treatment? That doesn’t strike you as wrong in any way?
