for months i thought i had genital warts…but now i think i dont?
okay. i had about 10 little tiny bumps around my penis area for about 3-4 months i’d say. i thought they were genital warts. i looked pictures up, and it looked kind of like them, except a much, much more mild case. then they just kind of went away (which i know genital warts will do)
i got tested for the first time in my life a few weeks ago. i was clear of everything. but obviusly since i had no bumps, i couldnt be tested for those. i asked both of my ex’s (my only two sexual partners i could have gotten these from) if they have been tested, and if theyve ever seen bumps on themselves.. and they both said no.
so i obviously feel much better, but i KNOW what i saw! what else could these bumps have been? i know it sounds kind of weird, but id sometimes pick them off even. so i clearly wasnt just seeing things.
HPV -human papilloma virus…it’s THe most common STD….-estimates that 75-80 percent of all women will have it at some point in their life to give you some idea….
there are different types of HPV…&, and !! are very common…many cause “patches” of papilloma (warts) on the genitallia. These warts come and go and again they show up in patches like 3-4 in a bunch…they are spongy feeling and bumpy
