Genital warts?
Having Genital warts remove by Surgical excision around the anal area. Can anyone that had this done explain to me in detail how it went, and how was it after surgery.
First not to worry, not the end of the world, its just an outpatient procedure. Yes its embarasing, but better to suffer a little shame than ignore a serious potential problem. Also just so you’ll know these warts can be contracted without any homosexual contact!
I ignored mine for about 4 years. All the time they grew. Finally got up nerve to show them to my Doc. Sched. another appt. for removal. OK here’s the details-HE and an assist. who held cheeks open deadened the area with a local anest. yes it hurt but not long. after area deadened Doc used an electric scapel to cut them away. By useing elect scap it also cauterized and limited the bleeding. Bout a 45 min procedure in all.Oh bout 2 days before operation stay away from cheese’s and anything that will cause you to strain on the stool, dont want to tear anything while healing. Within a week I was pretty much healed. Doc sent a sample off for lab test came back negt. I havent had any reoccurance’s Which Ive been told can occur.
