How do you get rid of plantar warts?

I’ve had a plantar wart on the bottom of my right foot since June. It rarely hurts, just at random times when my foot is flat on the floor and it has this burning sensation. I haven’t done anything about it except freezing it last month. Besides calling a doctor, what else should I do? (By the way, it’s not an STD)

There are cryogenic wart removal kits, but I’m not sure if they apply to planar warts.
