Someone please help me !!!!!?
Hello, about a year and a half, I lived and stomach pain received a colonoscopy. The doctor took a biopsy, but everything was clean except for hemorrhoids that I knew I had. Recently, 4 months ago, I noticed that I had a litte growth on my wall of the anal canal. To describe it, it feels like a skin tag is soft and internal. It is quite small and painless and feels nothing like a hemorrhoid. I started to worry and asked two separate family physicians what they thought. Both said they felt nothing unusual. Yet last week, I visited a physician assistant and was told to see a gastro-intestinal tract, because she said she felt "something". I am only 21 years and was interested if this could be cancer? If not, could it be a wart? I had all 3 shots while Gardasil should I exclude genital warts? What could it be? I am scheduled to see my GI next month, but in the mean time, I wonder what that might be?
Judging by your age and what you describe it sounds like a hemorrhoid. There is a place in your rectum called the pectinate line and hemorrhoids above this line are usually not painful. Have you had any bleeding or other associated events? It is also possible that this could be a small polyp. Please see a colon and rectum surgeon.
