Does this sound like HPV ( Genital warts)?

Ok well i have known the person i am with for over 3 years now. We recently started going together and having unprotected sex. He hasn’t been diagnosed with HPV, but it looks like five or so small skin colored extra skin bumps and are painless to him underneath the head. I have looked it up online, and it looks like its like really mild HPV. I haven’t gotton any symptoms yet but its only been a month. How long does it usually take to show up on the other person? I don’t need any rude comments, i knew the risks and I took em! I just want to know information about HPV and if you guys think it sounds like HPV and how long after exposure does it show up?

It could be, but it also sounds like it could be penile papules.
