Types of moles

Virtually Everyone has moles, and is not something for a reason to worry. They are usually mild and do not pose problems to anyone. However there are atypical moles that may develop a malignant and dangerous person.

Moles are usually genetic, but differ in size, shape and pigmentation. They exist as instance nevucellular skin under the skin as spots brown, blue or yellow. They may appear anywhere on the body but are found mostly on the arms, head and neck.

While most moles materialize during the first 20 years of life, some may appear later in life too. Here is a list of different types of moles existing, and which you may suffer from. The types moles are most common:

1. Congenital nevi moles or baby occur in 1-3% of newborns. They are the most typical types safe and of moles. They are found under the skin and are caused by the clustering of pigmented skin cells in a region of the skin of some. They are usually in as small circular spots on the body.

1. Dysplastic nevi are also known as atypical moles, which are generally irregular in shape, size and texture. These types of moles are sensitive to sun exposure and more exposure, can lead to skin cancer.

1. Freckles are darkened, flat spots that tend to darken with sun exposure. They are more common in fair and people with red hair.

1. Skin tags are small shreds skin found on the neck, groin or armpits.

1. Seborrheic keratoses are found mostly in the older generation. They are wart-like black or brown spots that are usually round or oval shape that seem glued to skin.

These common types of moles are benign and have no medical reason or need to remove it. They are found In most people, and are not a threat. However, it can be emotionally painful for some and for some, they can be irritating while shaving or friction.

There are also some rare types of moles listed below:

1. Pyogenic granulomas are caused by moles growth and swelling of the capillaries. They are usually dark blue or red which usually disappear with time. If necessary, they can also be removed surgically.

1. Keloids are overgrowths of the smooth, large firm that form after an injury, the wound site. While some people are predisposed to keloids, some may never develop. However rarely develop keloids and most treatment options are ineffective in them. You can still use injections of corticosteroids to flatten, or have them removed by surgery.

1. Keratoacanthomas are flesh-colored growths round with depression Central issuing a paste like substance. They tend to disappear with time, but leave scars in the process. It is preferable to obtain check those moles by your doctor to eliminate the risk of melanoma.

These moles are fairly rare, so if you feel like you have moles , it is best to have them checked by your doctor to eliminate the chances of one of them leading to skin cancer.
