Doctor's office took the picture of my breasts – what used?
I get a small mole removed from my chest during my visit physician's schedule the procedure, he was a staff member to take a picture of me with my dress was removed to expose my breasts. I guess that will be used for medical reasons, but I do not know where he is going to be stored and who will review it. There are 3 physicians males in the same office. Will they be allowed to see the pictures? How long did they keep the photo? I do not feel comfortable asking the doctor directly.
When they took the picture, was it just the breast or face and chest? It should have been feeding. They probably took it for documentation only. If the mole grows back following the procedure, they can look at the photo for size, color and location. As for where it will be stored and who will watch it, it will probably be stored in your file and your doctor should be watching. Otherwise, it violates the doctor / patient confidentiality laws and may be prosecuted. They will probably continue in the photo file permenantly but you should ask to your doctor about this and ask that it be returned to you if it becomes necessary. I doubt you have something to fear.
