I have a very painful perianal haematoma. Can I pop it with a sterilized needle?
Saw the doc. What he said it was small bluish lump the size of a kidney beam along the rim of my anus. He said use cold presses, paracetomol and bed rest. Should clear up in a few days he said/ But the pain is really BAD it feels like someone is holding a lit cigarette to my ass.
My GP said it should clear up on its own but then I just read that this may leave a very irritating and uncomfortable skin tag if the blood is not discharged.
I have just read the pain relief is instant if you let the blood out. Shall I do it ?? I am lying here with a bag of frozen peas against my butt. Had it for 3 days now it get mega worse when walking. Am going on holiday to turkey this sunday and I want to be OK for that not lying about with frozen peas held against my butt crack. I am man in his 30′s not a kid BTW
If I went to AE would they do it? I dont mind paying privatley, but it s sat tomorrow What shall I do????
Please dont pop it, there are loads of veins there you could have a blood bath, how about trying hemoroid cream to reduced the swelling, go to an all night pharmacy.
