Pink growth of flesh around dog’s mouth?
Can anyone identify what this is? This started growing slowly in past few months and is now 3-4mm in length and 2mm across. It started out as a little bulb of pink flesh. Lately, a little yellowish tint seems to have started around the tip of it. It does not seem to bother him.
I’ve read about things like skin tags, warts and acne but there does not appear to be many good pictures online to compare to.
He’s 1 year and 4 months.
Zoom in for closer look.

It’s canine warts. They will go away eventually. They are contagious from one dog to the next so don’t take him to any dog parks or dog classes (which is probably where they were picked up).
Old time remedy to make them fall off — tie a black cotton thread around the base of the wart and it will die and drop off.
Go to the vet, let the vet tell you what they are. BTW – Rico, in my avatar, had them for about 6 weeks the beginning of this year – 3 months after being exposed to a b*tch with them. And yes, the thread WORKED.
