Planter warts and duct tape?
Okay, I have four plantar warts on my middle toe and I have tried everything to get rid of them. I just recently heard of the duct tape remedy but when I asked my friends they said that when you take off the tape that it rips off the head of the wart and will make it bleed, causing more to come up… Is this true? Should I try it?
I had a wart on my toe and went to see dermatologist about it. She put some kind of liquid on it to soften the wart and then told me to start putting duct tape on it at night for 14 days. I thought she was joking but she explained that duct tape prevents oxygen flow to the wart and it disables the virus that causes warts and the wart will dry out and fall off. My wart was gone in 10 days and never came back. But you have to make sure you soften the area before you put duct tape on it. Just soak your foot in water and file it down to remove dead skin from it. Good luck!
