Has anyone ever been on cimetidine (Tagamet other) to help get rid of warts? How did it for you?

My podiatrist just put me on the medicine and I was wondering if it really works all that well or if I should tell him to stuff it because of the long list of potential drug reactions and side effects. Today is my first day of medicine, she got me on 400 mg 3 times a day. Thank you for your comments!

I prescribed it before for other people as a supplement (not only) for medicine treatment of warts. I found it did not work so well on its own … With regard to serious side effects, any medication that you take a laundry list of potential side effects. If you feel good about the medicine, it will not hurt to go about it. Tagamet is a safe drug in most people. My suggestion would be to simply buy some W compund and use it with Tagamet.
