Etiology of plantar warts

Plantar warts occur more frequently in children and young adults. Plantar warts are lesions skin caused by infection with human papilloma virus (HPV). They are usually found on the soles of the feet. Unfortunately, these developing inward, often resulting in a bump hard and painful. It is not uncommon to have these black spots in the center.

Warts Plantar causes significant pain a little stand and walk, and is therefore a type that requires an immediate remedy and fast acting wart. Nearly 200 strains of HPV have been identified. Subtypes commonly found in plantar warts are HPV 1, 2, 4 and 10. Strains appear to be more open year to year, creating a huge challenge to cure warts.

HPV is transmitted between hosts by direct contact. For infection and replication must occur, the virus needs a compromise with the skin surface of epithelial cells in an advanced state of differentiation. The virus attacks the layers granular and keratin of the epidermis. The viral DNA and protein production occur in the upper spinous layer assembly with Final virus occurring in the granular layer.

HPV is a non-enveloped, double-stranded DNA virus that replicates in all layers of epithelial cells. However, viral replication is associated with excessive proliferation of all layers of the epidermis except the basal layer. This process produces acanthosis, parakeratosis and hyperkeratosis. There is also a deepening of the rete ridges, which produces the typical papillomatous architecture identify who produces bleeding debridement of the lesion.

One study suggests that the persistence of the disease may be due to a lack Langerhans cells in the lesion site, leading to stimulation of the immune response to decreased cell mediated. minor trauma at the site of inoculation can be important because there may an abrasion of the skin that allows the penetration of the wart in the epidermis. Warts will often present at high pressure or areas of high friction, which are often otherwise occupied by calluses.

Although one can diagnose warts with a degree high certainty on the basis of their clinical appearance, a biopsy may be necessary for a definitive diagnosis. If an injury is chronic, aggressive, irregular and resistant to multiple therapies, be cautious of possible malignancy. In rare cases, warts can develop into verrucous carcinoma.

Warts are conventionally treated with topical acid, or by freezing the tissue with liquid nitrogen. Freezing causes a blister, and the gall cure warts, hopefully comes off with it. However, these treatments for warts are not always successful. In fact, warts can reappear after using a common wart remedy due to the activation of latent viruses present in normal skin adjacent to the lesion.

Most patients with multiple warts cure warts need on a course of several weeks or months. If substantial improvements did not occur after 3 medical treatment or if the total clearance did not occur after 6 treatments, a different treatment modality should be used.

For warts, remedies used to treat diseases associated with HPV are applied locally on skin surfaces. Local skin reactions and pain are common side effects. More difficult warts can be excised or burned. After intervention surgical or chemical acids are used, we can expect a scar that area.
