Gential anal warts symptoms
It is important to note that many people infected with HPV are not the trappings, and unaware they are infected. The results of a study by the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases indicate that as many 50% of women infected with HPV do no obvious symptoms and are unaware they are infected. This is a significant factor in the rapid spread of the virus.

When anal genital warts appear, they vary in size from very tiny bumps to large growths in the form of cauliflower. anal warts which occur outside the rectum are called perianal, those that occur inside the rectum are called intra-anal and the effect of the drop or two inches of the rectum.

Although Pain is not usually associated with anal warts, occasionally minor bleeding resulting from anal sex or bowel movements. Without treatment, anal warts can cause intestinal obstruction.

Gential anal warts are highly contagious and transmission most often the result of direct contact usually of a sexual nature with an infected person. It is estimated that two thirds of people having sexual contact with infected persons will develop anal or genital warts within three months.

While common warts that appear on the hands and feet are forms of HPV, they are not the same strain of HPV that causes anal warts. Contact with a person inter-mittently affected by common warts will not result in venereal wart transmission genitals, unless the individual also has a venereal wart strain of HPV.

Detection and diagnosis of anal warts
Because HPV infection is not systemic, that is, it exists only in the cells of the skin, there is no blood test to detect it. The medical staff generally identify an anal wart infection by visually inspecting the suspected area, sometimes with a magnifying glass to verify the presence warts. Sometimes vinegar is applied to the skin because infected tissue blanching, to make them more easily perceptible.

Treatment of anal Warts
Gential anal warts are the outward symptoms of a viral infection that can persist indefinitely in the tissues around the affected area. The treatments aimed at eliminating warts so as to reduce the possibility of spreading the virus to others, and to eliminate any discomfort physical or psychological associated with anal warts. Removal of warts, however, is not necessarily a cure. As the virus is present, anal warts may recur and require additional treatment.

Various treatments are currently recommended by doctors to remove warts anal. Anal wart treatment s include, but are not limited to, topical chemical solutions, topical anti-virus solutions, immunotherapy, cryotherapy (using liquid nitrogen), surgical removal, and electrosurgery.

Coping with anal warts
Most people are very unhappy to discover they have contracted a sexually transmitted form of HPV. Gather as much information about the virus as possible and seeking out support groups can be very useful to come to accept the situation and moving for-wardto a happy and healthy life.

Protection against anal warts
Abstain from sex with individuals infected with warts or HPV, is the best way to avoid contracting or transmitting the virus to a sexual partner. Obviously, this is not always practical advice. Since the infection is not always obvious, and because committed partners may decide the risk of transmission of HPV is outweighed by the benefits of opening a sexual relationship, use a condom or dental dam (female sexual barrier device) is recommended for any and all sexual activity. This precaution does not guarantee the security of the infection, the virus may be present in the skin around the genitals, and therefore notcovered by the barrier.
