Are genital warts less contagious if your partner has been treated?

If a guy who has been diagnosed with genital warts has been taking medication and getting treated for this condition has sex with a female, are the chances of the female getting genital warts from him lower due to him being treated? I do realize it’s a highly contagious virus but just wondering what the chances of contracting it are.

The medication you take tries to suppress the outbreaks. Since outbreaks are a sign of higher viral activity they obviously signal higher risk of infection. However there may also be “viral shedding” which is contagious, before an outbreak happens. The odds of that happening would be lower than if you did not take the medication, but they are not zero.
